I am Jamie Clark. I drive a 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart. I've owned
several different cars in my lifetime. I've owned a 89 Pontiac Firebird,
a 93 Ford Thunderbird, an 89 Chevrolet Camaro, a 99 Ford Mustang GT, 93
Nissan NX 2000, a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT and my current car "Jazzy"I
have a history of working with water cooled Volkswagons and believe
that is what truly peaked my interest and love for cars. I've been to
countless shows on the west coast for Volkswagons, classics cars and
for specific makes and models. I even was able to enjoy one in Louisiana
that I loved. (almost bought a 63 corvette while there) it was with
the Volkswagons that learned to appreciate cars like a person, it has
personality, and when it's not doing so well will tell you. I've worked
on everything from interiors, detailing, body work and engine work. I
have worked on my own cars (when not under warranty) and truly feel that
before you work on your car you need to get to know it. I have plans
for the Ralliart but it all comes down to money. If I aim to do something I
want to ensure that the safety and management stays at a minimal cost. I have
supported Raceline Performance Motorsports since the beginning and have been to quite a few local
shows for our team. My car is my daily driver and when taken care
of, is absolutely beautiful.. My hopes are to repaint her, hook up some
underbody lights, add a couple of LCD displays and some extra "UMPH" to
her audio system. Engine wise I am still window shopping. It's a slow
Process right now, but not unreasonable. I love looking at what people
do to their cars. The little things that stand out and how they do it. I
believe there are several ways to work on a vehicle but some just slap
things together.. Hence why they breakdown and the reliability falls
short. Anyone can take a car and make it run but it's how it runs that
really matters.
