Originally from Philadelphia and a product of south jersey and the jersey shore, I have always felt the most comfortable with a wrench in my hand. I started getting into cars at a young age while helping my father and uncle build a 55 Chevy and a 72 Corvette. I took my first car which was a 91 Toyota Tercel and turned it into a stereo warehouse.
I bought my first new car in December 98 after returning from a year in japan. I purchased a 98 Nissan 240 sx se. I knew from the start that I was never going to keep this car stock. For one it had an automatic transmission in a sports car. So over the years I have converted the car into what I wanted it to be, and into what I was more into at the time. I have used this car as a daily driver, a drift car, a track car, and now in my 13th year of owning the car it is now a display of how time, patience, and persistence can pay off and you can do anything to any car that you want to.
And even though I have turned my car completely into a show car, I still have the passion for building and racing cars, epically my imports. But after so many years of being into the car scene, I have learned a lot of valuable lessons. First is being yourself. If you love what your car looks like and what it does for you, who cares what the next guy says. Second is don’t talk about it be about it. Its one thing to say that you’re going to do a lot with your car and it’s another to back up your words. Lastly is after you build something you love, take the time to sit back and enjoy your work.
